The 2nd day of the All-City

Brent arriving at the golf course in time to watch the play off between Rob and Ryan Goude.

The hand shake after Rob won the 4th hole in sudden death.

Rob being interviewed by the Union Bulletin reporter.

The 2nd day of the All-City

This is one of Rob's bunker shots; don't know if you can actually see the ball in this one.

And this is one of the benefits of having a caddy! Jake is raking the sand after the shot.

The Union Bulletin photographer startedf following our group around after the first 9 holes and we thought he probably knew something we didn't. We obviously had the winner in our group and he wanted to get some good shots of whoever it was!

Another sand shot; I love taking these!

This is a shot of people in carts starting to follow our group around the last of the back nine.

Photos from the 2nd day of All-City Tournament

Before Rob left the house for the golf course, he did the "Chris Pendleton" pose that Chris did at the barbecue at Josh and Shannon's house on Saturday night.

Getting ready to tee-off at the first hole of the day.

It got quite windy; see the grass blowing?

Rob's caddy, Jake, has this snicker's golf bag and carried it around all day (except for the last 9 holes; they rode in a cart)

This photo is not even of the leader! This paper tends to do that; go figure.

Barbecue at Shannon & Josh's house

Mary Ruther enjoying the evening air on the patio.

Yes, Shannon is the one on the left with the dark hair!*S* Jessica is the only blonde! Robin is even dark now and it looks good.

Group photo! Rob, Robin, Jessica and Chelsea

Chris didn't get home til around 9pm from working harvest. what is he doing?

I love this photo of Jessica and her Daddy, Josh!

Robin and Brian will be missed, but we are so glad we had a chance to visit while they were here. They left this morning early for Seattle.

Barbecue at Josh and Shannon's house

Shannon and Josh had a barbecue for some of us Saturday evening at 6pm so we could all visit with Brian and Robin before they left this morning for Seattle. The men sat on the comfy sectional and watched the olympics. Here you can see Bud Ruther, Steve and Brian.

Larry really stretched out on the chaise part of the sectional!*S* Kent's enjoying himself as well.

Victoria and Tiffane were talking (could have been about the Twilight book series!*S*)

As usual, Josh grilled up some great burgers and polish sausages!

The ladies mostly gathered out on the patio to talk (lots of cooking talk) *S* Looks like Linda and Robin were having a nice converstaion.

Photos from the 1st day of All-City

I had to get a shot of Brent and Dad; you can click on this photo to enlarge *S*

Some photos from the first round of the All City Tournament Day 1

Saturday's round was played at the Country Club which is a beautiful course.

The guy with the red shirt behind Rob is Rob's caddy, Jake. He did a pretty good job.

Rob finished the day with a 73(1 over par) with the leader at 68 and several players at 72.

A few last photos of my Seattle trip

Billie's dog, Abby, is a really sweet dog so I had to take one more photo of her before i left.

I was driving on I-90 East somewhere near CleElum, WA and out of nowhere there was a rainbow! I didn't stop to take photos, I just grabbed my camera and started shooting pics. Not bad for driving at the same time, huh?

I think; though, that taking photos while driving is worse than talking on the cellphone while driving!*S*

My trip to Seattle

I drove to Seattle on Tuesday afternoon to visit my friend, Billie, and to attend a lia sophia Reachout training session. I had such a good time with Billie, Kiel(her son that is visiting her) and Heather (her daughter). Here are a few photos from our visit. I didn't take any of the reachout conference at the Hilton Inn and Conference Center across from the airport.

We laughed so hard while we were taking these photos! Of course, we did not like the way we looked but oh well!

Heather THOUGHT she was getting out of the way of being in the photo with Billie and Abby(Billie's dog)by laying down! LOL

Of course I had to take a pic of Kiel right before I headed out the door on Thursday around 4:45 and he was eating at the time!

I had such a good time and I wanna go back!*S*

It's starting already!

This weekend is the All City Golf Tournament and Rob won it last year by quite a bit. The phone rang this morning at 9:00am for Rob; it was a Union Bulletin reporter scheduling an interview with Rob this afternoon at 1:30. They'll meet up at Veteran's Memorial Golf Course where I'm sure they'll also take some photos. I told Rob to be careful what he says because it will be in the newspaper! That's a frightening thought; glad I don't have to be interviewed!LOL The tournament is on Saturday and Sunday at the Country Club one day and at Vets' the other.

Brent's home!

Brent came home on Saturday and arrived around 5:00pm. He was in Palm Desert, CA with Craig and Cyndi, selling for Pacific Pest Control (Craig & Cyndi's new company!). He is going to do yard work and clean up for us! Yeah!!!!*S*

Before he could even get out of the car I snapped this photo!
